The Frivolous Engineering Company
Posted by Brett in Other Uselessness, Useful, Useless on November 2, 2011
In preparing for the release of the newest version of the kit I’ve had to incorporate a new company. Sorry folks, my accountant and lawyer made me do it. My apologies go out to the people Occupying Wall Street. While the last thing I want to become is one of the greedy 1%, I do want to keep a roof over my head and not get sued in the process.
Therefore, the new company name is The Frivolous Engineering Company Inc. which also best reflects the nature of our useless flagship product.
In addition to the new name is a new URL and web site on a fast, virtual private server. We’ve selected inmotion hosting to host the new site and they are also looking after the technical details of the move.
Now I fully realize that everyone wanting to purchase a machine probably doesn’t really care too much what my company name is, they just want to buy. And folks have been waiting for a long time and I wish to assure them that getting the company set up is not really holding back the release of the new kits. I will be releasing more info this week after we migrate from saskview to our new URL and VPS. Prices as well as actual details, photos and more are coming. I hope to be selling the new kits and machines within 2 weeks.
Now that it’s official, I’d like to know what you folks think of my new company name. The comment section is open to all.
Sincerely,
Brett Coulthard
